A strong field of 64 Internationals will be joined by South Africa’s top juniors when the seventh SA Juniors International takes place at Durbanville Golf Club from 6 to 9 March.    Included in the field are top Paarl Juniors Daniel Cronjé and Tyran Snyders.

The event is held under the umbrella of the international Global Junior Golf and the South African leg was played at Kingswood Golf Estate for the first three years.   During this time Paarl Junior Armand Scholtz was a winner and HP van der Merwe was a runner-up.  After one year at Langebaan Country Club, the tournament now sponsored by Curro Schools, moved to Durbanville.

Also competing are top SA juniors Luca Filippi, Garrick Hugo who won in 2016, Jayden Schaper, Wilco Nienaber, Slade Pickering and Martin Vorster.

The handicap limit for entries is two for boys and five for girls.   The girls’ field includes top juniors Kajal Mistry, Woo-Joo Son, Chiara Contomathios, Cassandra Hall and Caitlyn Macnab.

Countries represented at the event are Aruba, Australia, Austria, Denmark, Czech Republic, England, France, Germany, Italy, Namibia, The Netherlands, Poland, Singapore, Slovakia, Sweden, Switzerland, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
